Meet Dr. King

Dr. Steven P. King obtained his dental degree from Northwestern University in 1994 where he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Following this he trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, and his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. King continued his training by traveling extensively throughout the United States and abroad where he attained the most up-to-date surgical expertise in England and Belgium.

Dr. King has extensive background in head and neck cancer reconstruction and the management of facial skin lesions. He specializes in performing dental implants with CT imagery, and state-of-the art TIAH (“Teeth-in-an-Hour”) and TIAD (“Teeth-in-a-Day”) procedures. Dr. King is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. King has been in private practice with Oral Surgery Associates and Dental Implant Centers since May of 2002. Dr. King is also a member of many Oral Surgery related organizations, such as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Dental Associates, Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is involved in numerous dental study clubs and served as the President of the Dekalb Study Club. Dr. King is a devoted healthcare provider and was previously the Chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Rockdale for three years. He aims to achieve the highest quality of care with the most professional approach at Oral Surgery Associates and Dental Implant Centers where he primarily works out of the Covington, Northlake/Tucker, and Stockbridge locations.
