Dr. Robert E. Going Jr.

In 1982, Dr. Robert E. Going Jr. received his D.D.S. degree from Emory University Dental School, graduating in the top of his class. He went on to complete his internship and residencies in Chicago, at the University of Illinois Hospital, the Cook County Hospital, and the Westside VA Hospital. He has training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Aneshtesiology and many years of experience with wisdom teeth surgery, dental implants and bone grafting surgery.

Dr. Going is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the Pierre Fauchard Dental Society, and the OKU honorary Dental Fraternity. He has been in the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1986 to present.

Dr. Going is a long-standing member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial. He has also served on multiple committees of local area hospitals.

His involvement with these various societies and associations have given him the opportunity to lead several major speaking engagements and have three of his articles and chapters published and distributed internationally. Dr. Going has been a consultant to multiple healthcare organizations, and he has been the Assistant Clinical Professor for the OMS division of Emory University School of Medicine from 1987 to present. Dr. Going is an experienced and highly qualified surgeon who is devoted to providing the highest quality patient care.
