I was referred to Snellville Oral Surgeon by my doctor and had my appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM. I arrived early at 1:50 PM, checked in, gave my information, and sat down. The waiting area was pretty full, which I understand, but what I don’t understand is the complete lack of communication and acknowledgment from the staff. I sat there until almost 3:00 PM without ever being called back or updated. Around 50 minutes after my appointment time, I went up to the front desk to ask how much longer it would be. The receptionist said she would go check, came back, sat down, and never followed up with me or gave me any update at all. At that point, I decided to leave. As a business, if someone is waiting nearly an hour past their appointment time, the least you can do is acknowledge them, apologize for the delay, or communicate what’s going on. Respecting people’s time matters. This was my first experience there, and unfortunately it will also be my last. I do not return to businesses that make patients/customers feel like their time and presence are not valued.
